The RB26DETT is an inline 6 cylinder engine that powered R32 Skyline GTRs. Made with a cast iron block and an aluminum alloy cylinder head, the RB26DETT came from factory with twin Garrett T28-type ceramic turbochargers. It has DOHC 4 valves per cylinder, with 24 valves total. The engine features 6 individual throttle bodies, broken up as 3 groups of 2 throttle assemblies that are paired together. The turbos work in parallel to provide a factory restricted 10PSI (0.69 bar) of boost.
RB = Nissan’s engine series designation
26 = 2.6 Liter
D = Dual overhead cam
E = Electronic fuel injection
TT = Twin Turbo
